As the lead designer for AWS re:Post, I play a major role in developing a groundbreaking service that empowers customers to solve technical problems through a collaborative social platform. This innovative approach not only fosters a strong sense of community but also provides a valuable resource for addressing complex issues in a timely and efficient manner. Building upon the success of the initial re:Post platform, I spearheaded its evolution into an internal version tailored for AWS engineers, further solidifying the company's commitment to knowledge sharing and problem-solving. Additionally, I led the development of a private version of the product, enabling customers to create their own customized AWS re:Post spaces. To further enhance the user experience, I integrated AI tools into the re:Post toolset, enabling customers to self-service and troubleshoot problems more effectively. This holistic approach has transformed re:Post into a comprehensive ecosystem, facilitating seamless collaboration, knowledge exchange, and efficient issue resolution across various user groups.
Accessibility Instructor
For the majority of my professional career I have promoted accessibility awareness and teaching best practices to designers, developers, stakeholders, and anyone interested in learning. Through comprehensive training sessions and hands-on labs, I have guided teams across multiple organizations within Amazon, empowering them to adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards. By imparting a deep understanding of these guidelines and fostering a culture of inclusivity, I have enabled seamless collaboration among cross-functional teams. Amazon’s Apple Business - Lead Designer
When leading design for Amazon's Apple business, I was entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of the end-to-end Apple shopping experience on Amazon.com. With $1.7 billion in revenue at stake, my role was pivotal in ensuring a seamless and engaging customer journey for one of the world's most iconic technology brands. At TapInfluence, a startup SAAS company that bridged the gap between influencers and brands, I played a crucial role in creating a seamless experience for both parties. Through in-depth customer research, I gained invaluable insights into the needs and preferences of influencers and brands alike. Armed with this knowledge, I spearheaded the development of a comprehensive design system that formed the foundation for a user-friendly portal that served as a centralized platform where influencers could showcase their expertise and brand partnerships, while brands could explore and connect with influential voices in their respective industries.
LEGO Universe - UI Art & Design
As UI Designer and Artist for the massively multiplayer online game LEGO Universe, I played a pivotal role in crafting an engaging and user-friendly experience for a diverse audience, including children.
